Hello, and welcome to the T Baker & Sons website. This web page tells you what we do and a bit of history behind the company. We are a small family business specializing in the shipping container logistics. We are based in the West Midlands, and have been established since 1918 and became a limited company in 1952. We have lots of experience in container logistics as we will soon be moving on to the 4th generation of the Baker family to take the lead and carry the company forward. The company first started with Thomas Baker many years ago. He was based in Albert Street in Wallheath in the West Midlands, where he delivered coal around the local area by order of the Earl of Dudley.  The company has passed down from generation to generation and in the mid 1970's the decision was taken to specialize in the shipping container industry. We operate articulated vehicles and have a number of drivers which are hazardous trained. We operate throughout the West Midlands we are familiar with working out of various rail terminals e.g. Hams Hall ,BIFT & Freightliner Birmingham.

We have a large secure site. We offer container handling services both empty and loaded. We offer an out of hours lifting service. We have a team of trained container technicians who have a vast knowledge in dealing with ISO containers and we can handle all types of work including mobile repairs. We do from time to time have a stock of 20' and 40' containers for sale. We operate our own work shops with LGV trained technicians.
